My sculpture is a combination of traditional forged Ironwork ( blacksmithing ) and contemporary metal fabrication ( Boilermaker ).I draw on the skills of each trade as required using the tools of both trades as a sculptor to create............... I typically work in steel but will combine ferrous and non ferrous metals and occasionally cast elements if required. Because I work to high levels of craftsmanship I do not have to hide my workmanship with paint. Therefore my sculpture is typically buffed, polished and lacquered to reveal the craftsmanship and exhibit the natural beauty of the materials in which I work.
